Ken Rowe (Penola SA) & Lorne Brown (Hamilton Vic) in the HFTC shed.
Earnest discussion between Ron Klippel (Wodonga) & Les Orr (Albury).
Whilst not taken at L/G, this photo was given to HFTC by a visitor and shows an interesting road roller conversion at Wanaka Museum in New Zealand

1. The Goldsmith Fergie display site . Immediately in front of the Founders Building the “hub” of the Lake Goldsmith Rally Site.
2. A unique Fergie, a TO – 35 (TO standing for Tractor Overseas manufactured by Harry Ferguson at Detroit US 1955) the updated mechanicals and tinwork making it the obvious forerunner to the FE – 35 manufactured in the UK in 1956.
This tractor was meticulously fully restored to factory specification by the Duffield Family of Grovedale, Vic.
The Fergie to the right belongs to Vic Polleesel, this little tractor was a veteran of the 1956 floods working on the levees at Buronga N.S.W.
3. Proof that if you have seen one Fergie you HAVE NOT seen the lot. In foreground, a “Half Track”, designed for extreme conditions including ice, snow, mud and sand, a Fergie with genuine Fergie Cabin made in Birmingham (scarcer than hens teeth), a TEC narrow and A High Rise market garden tractor.
4. David Wareham on his High Rise and his son Robin on John Reeve's very original 1949 known to some as “Harry” and to other as “Trusty Rusty”.
5. A unique collection, four Fergies at the one rally all with genuine Fergie Birmingham made cabins.
Owners L-R The “Man” in the Top Hat from Bendigo (tractor owned by his father from new) ,Bruce Johnston, Brian Twitt, and Graeme McDonald.
6. Grandson of David Wareham on Pa's tractor and believe it or not his name is David Wareham Jnr.
7. Grand Parade Line-up. In the foreground three Fergie trailers laden with Ferguson System Implements owned by L-R John Reeves, Noel Cox and Murray Kurzman.
8. Grand Parade Line-up variety. Fergie as from the factory, T0 – 35 , The Half Track, The Vanguard Service Van and again the Fergie with Cabin.
9. Fergies on static display on the arena following the Grand Parade.
10/11. Fergies on static display on the arena following the Grand Parade.
12. The “Big” Fergie Picture and how times changed from Steam Power to Fergie Power.
